i have alot of doctor's appts to go through because I suffer from depression and my daughter and my son has adhd. I have been approved to go through those visits by my doctor and our Human Resource department. My supervisor who sits near my coworkers always tells everyone when i am at the doctors. he also tells them my personal business. not all the time but alot of the times. I just feel that if I want them to know my business I would tell them myself. what do you think.

You need to take this person aside and tell them point blank that if you wanted your co-workers to know your personal business, you would be the one to discuss it with them.
Tell him that you need his promise that he won't discuss anything but work-related topics in relation to you again. If he does not agree or falls short without apology, go to Human Resources to determine what the process is to deal with it and...follow through.

It seems like this would be a breach of ethics - unless you gave him permission to discuss these matters with other people, not only is it wrong, it might be against policy and grounds for punishment.

Contact your HR department for more info.

Take them aside and calmly tell them that you really don't appreciate them telling your business to everyone in the office. It's ridiculous for them to be telling the entire office what's going on in your life.

That is so unprofessional. I would make a complaint to him, and then if that gets you nowhere, go to his superior.

Keep records of comments and dates to back up your story. Your medical details and private life are not an appropriate topic of conversation at your workplace, unless it is coming out of your own mouth.

I agree , I would talk with the HR Department (If so) If this bothers you . This classifies as Harrasment in the workplace.

being true to yourself and others can sometimes cure your depression, take everything constructively, your supervisor might be justifying your absentee, so your co-worker will not think that your a lazy worker. use the circumstances, who knows? someone might help you with your situation.

I am pretty sure that is a violation of the HIPPA laws.
