i am due with my 2nd child in april, and i don't want anymore kids after this one. i want to get my tubes tied. By the way i am 22 years old and i live in florida.

#1) i want to know, What is the age that they will 'Tie your tubes'?

#2) and if i am 2 young how do i go about getting papers signed for me to get it done anyway?

#3) And what is the law in florida about getting it done while you have your c section?

and i have decided that i ONLY want 2 kids. After all It is MY Decision. In Todays world it is VERY Exspencive to raise more that 2 kids. and i don't want my kids having to do without. Because they come from a large family. i come from a family with 5 kids. and i don't want to go through that.

It's good that you are thinking ahead now so that you have time to talk with your doctor and make sure that you have time to convince/arrange things now.

This is a topic to discuss with your healthcare provider. It is possible, even likely, that you may encounter resistance to the procedure because of your age, however because you are having your second child, some doctors will be more willing to perform the tubal ligation (i.e. you are less likely to sue them later because you already have kids).

Discuss with your provider his/her willingness to perform the procedure, and if he/she is not willing, then ask for a referral to someone who will. Do your own research as well, before switching to a new doctor. You can call their office and ask whether, given your situation and history, they would be willing to perform a tubal on you.

It sounds like you already know that you will be having a c-section, meaning you won't have to go back for a second procedure after the birth of your child.

Finally, don't give up! IF you encounter initial resistance, continue to research and find other providers who are more willing to listen you your needs and requests and work with you to achieve your optimal healthcare.

These are all questions that can be answered by the doctor performing your c-section. Many doctors try and tell women to wait to a certain age in case they want more children later on (or even having any at all) but it actually varies by doctor. If your doctor refuses to do the tubal ligation during your c-section you will have to find another one that will do it at a later time.
