I have never worked for Jackson Hewitt, but have been heavily recruited by our local district manager to go work for them. I've decided that I couldn't work there because the company ethics don't seem to be as strict as what I consider 'standard' in the tax field. I work for the 'other' large tax prep firm, and am really happy with the company's Mission, Vision, and Values (which include 'integrity'). But, that's just me - it's obviously right for some people, and that's OK too! Just be careful: some JH districts were recently brought under investigation by the IRS for intentionally filing fraudulent returns, and you wouldn't want to get caught up in that. Other districts are fine, though, I'm sure.

Never heard of "Jack Hewitt." There is a Jackson Hewitt, though. The offices are franchised so each franchisee is free to pay whatever the local traffic will bear. You'll have to discuss it with the individual franchisee.
