ok so iv had this friend for about a year now but he went off to the navy and now hes back we have bee texting alomost every day and calling each other when we text he calls me hun and sometimes babe and somtimes when i dont text him back he ask what im doing it seems like he likes me and my best friend even thinks so but im not really sure he is older but still i act alot older for my age hes coming to see me soon and i really need to know if i should go for it or if hes just being a guy friend. so pleas help!! thanks alot

The stereotypical Navy guy always seems to have a thing for younger girls. How old are you and how old is he? If you are under the age of 18 and he is over the age of 18 it might be illegal in your state for the two of you to become romantically involved. You must look into that before you do anything else.
The fact that he calls you "babe" and "hun" are not reasons to think he likes you. However, the every day texting and phone conversations are. Does he seem like the type of person you'd like to date? Attention from the opposite sex is great. If you like him only for the attention he is giving, you should not become romantic with him. If you like him for who he is as a person and how he looks, allow him to make the first move. If he likes you, he will. Just be careful. Never do anything you would regret.

I think he does.
If hes calling you babe and hun hes most likey hinting to you he likes you. But you should make a move no matter what people say on here cuz if you dont then how are you ever going to know if he feels the same, and if you do and he says no then dont let it get you down its not the worst thing that could happen

how much older is he and what type of guy is he. if hes anywhere in the age range of 18-25 then hes still probably very immature and only interested in sex. not only that hes in the navy which means hes around guys all the time and is probably looking 4 a hookup. now i dont want 2 jump 2 any conclusions because he could b a great guy and really like u. it appears 2 me that he either really likes u or is just trying 2 get u in bed so id b really careful so u dont get hurt

ok. my mum and dad are a few years apart. but make sure if you get with someone they are not too much older. you could simply ask this guy if he likes you and go on from there. if he says yes, your in if he says no then continue being just friends. and it dosent just matter if he likes you the important thing is if you have feelings for him. so i would just ask him when he comes round. if he is a good friend he will tell the truth and if he says no he will forgive you for asking. hope this helps!

sorry but i really do hate it when girls talk about older guys and how heavenly they are and how mature they can be aswell as themselves.
but that's just my opinion, now for my answer.
do you like him? enjoy his presence? if so give him a shot hang out with him more, get to know him, flirt a little, heck maybe if things go alright go on a date. remember age is a number. trust me numbers can define real love only you can't establish what is and what isn't.
summary.
-if you have a good time extend it with him
-don't be worried about age
-he just got out of the navy, he wants to be with someone. wouldn't you want to be with someone you liked if you just got out of a warzone? i know i would.

Quit playing this game. He doesn't have time for it. If you like him, then take care of him 100 percent. Otherwise, leave him alone and move on...your wasting your friends' energy answering your questions when you should be asking him.

how old are you? you sound very young (ie under 18)which, if you are, I would look for someone more your own age.
