After watching both videos (in totality), here is my reaction:
Christians should not be worried as God is still soveriegn. However, as the depravity of man increases, so will the persecution of Christians.

Better question:
Are Christians dangerous to Atheists?
Before everyone here starts flaming me, let me explain the rationale.
In the course of history, more people have died in the name of God than anything else. The Crusades, Israel/Palestine, you name it. All cases of religious conflict due to questions . While it is certainly possible to believe in God and live peacefully, but we have yet to see this happen and have no evidence that it will stop. Since Christians dominate the world's religious make-up, is it not unreasonable to expect that at least one of the mass attacks that occur within the next 1000 years will be an act to spread the influence of Christian and inflict its beliefs upon others?
But how many Atheists do you see fighting over which God is more dominant?
Whether or not you agree with athetists, they pose no harm to how you practice your beliefs. They aren't telling you how to conduct your own private services, they just ask that you don't inflict those beliefs upon others who don't wish to follow them. You continue to outnumber them as well.
And that video was extremely flawed in logic. Anyone who graduated high school can point out its hypocracy and lack of a legitimate argument.

i really dont think you should have to worry about any religion really taking over anywhere. im catholic and i know plenty of people hate catholics and most of the time it is for no good reason. people say that we think we're better than other people, not true. and i know people are going to sit here and be like, "Um yea catholics think their better than everyother Christian". Well I dont believe that its true at all. I think everyone has to become a lot more tolerant of other people's beliefs. People need to know that other people are entitled to their own believes and thoughts. Just because you dont necessarily think that same things as other people doesnt mean that person is bad or evil.
America has come a long way with tolerence, but we still have much further to go.

Christians are supposed to lead by EXAMPLE, not by brainwashing and forced conversion. You are not being a very good example here. You are trying to turn one group of people against another, and that is very UN-Christian. Besides, Christians make up the majority of the country. You shouldn't worry about a "rise" of atheism. That's like worrying about smallpox. I'm interested in what you're thinking about doing to us pagans next.

>Are Atheists dangerous to Christians?
No. Only to christianity. And yes, that is a different thing.
As an atheist, I consider myself dangerous to christianity in the same way that teachers are dangerous to the belief that 4*6=28. I recognize that the majority of christians have good intentions- but, like little children, their good intentions often lead to bad consequences due to them not understand the facts.
Now, of course, there does exist a minority of christians who really do have nasty intentions. Naturally, most of these people are christians more in name than in practice. And I suspect that it may have been these sorts of people who made that second video of yours, which is full of what any intelligent person should recognize as purposefully misleading information. For example:
>>You are NOT a "religion" or "lack of belief", that ushers in peace or tolerance.
Of course atheism isn't a religion, and of course it doesn't IN ITSELF promote peace and tolerance. Atheism only describes a single aspect of an atheist's philosophy, and there are many other philosophies (some of them good, some of them bad) that can coexist with atheism in the mind of any given person. Saying that atheism doesn't promote peace and tolerance is like saying that your monitor doesn't make nice sounds. Atheism, in itself, doesn't address peace and tolerance; the ONLY thing it addresses is the nonexistence of God.
>>You have been MURDEROUS, BLOODY, SADISTIC and INTOLERANT BABY KILLERS.
Wait a second...who's this 'you' the video is talking about? I don't recall ever murdering anybody, baby or otherwise. Saying 'atheists have killed people' is like saying 'whites have killed people' or 'men have killed people' or 'adults have killed people'. Well duh, of course atheists have killed people. And when an atheist kills someone who shouldn't have been killed (which includes almost all the people in the world), I'm perfectly in favor of punishing said atheist. And quite frankly, I'm a lot more afraid of people who overgeneralize than I am of atheism OR christianity.
That said, the historical association between the promotion of atheism and the murders of millions of people DOES have an explanation. The thing is, the video goes farther than just mentioning a correlation; it also implies that atheism was the CAUSE of all these deaths, which is another thing entirely. The fact is, they have their causality mixed up. Stalin and Mao and so on did not murder people because they were atheists. Nor did they promote atheism because they were murderers. Rather, they murdered people AND promoted atheism because they were evil dictators. Historically, evil dictatorships have found that organized religion retains its own force in people's minds, its own ideologies separate from those of the government. Since evil dictatorships want to eliminate all ideologies save for that of total subservience to the will of the state, they decide to eliminate religion. Atheism is not the active agent in these decisions. It is merely one of the many things that happens to result from the elimination of all other ideologies. This is something that many christians (such as those who made that video) don't seem to understand. Blinded by their faith and their opposition to atheism, they fail to accomplish the lateral thinking required to find what the causes and effects really are.
>>Want to know what the biggest miracle of all is? What proves there is a Loving God? ... That Christians would rather die horribly than renounce Jesus Christ.
Um...WTF? There are also many people who would rather die horribly than renounce Allah, or Vishnu, or Buddha. Is that also a miracle? Does that prove the existence of a loving Allah, a loving Vishnu and a loving Buddha? No, of course not. The only thing the creators of that video are really proving with their ridiculous double standard is that they don't understand what they're talking about.
>>If we put you in charge of anything, history says you are likely to come kill us.
If by 'you' the creators of the video mean evil, selfish, greedy bastards like Stalin and Hitler, sure.
If by 'you' the creators of the video mean ME...well, MY history says nothing of the sort.
>>Funny thing is we are the majority. So why should we let you breathe another second? WE LOVE YOU!!
Um...then why are the video creators telling us atheists we killed millions of people and are sadistic and intolerant? o.O

ANYONE can be dangerous to ANYONE ELSE.
That being said:
Matthew 24:9 -- Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
John 15:20 -- Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
John 17:14 -- I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

I didn't watch the posted videos. I am a Catholic and I believe if an Athiest comes over and starts to question everyone's belief... it is just ignorant. You see them everywhere telling someone to prove there is a God....thing is they cannot prove there isn't. But that is why it is called faith. With that said, I also believe many Catholics or Christians are outwardly obnoxious to other people's beliefs. If you don't believe in religion or God, that is your belief and should be left alone. Shoving beliefs and arguing about them to peoples faces or over the internet etc. is just plain ignorant and makes for everyone to think that persons belief goes for everyone. Shame.

Dude did you actually watch those videos. Aside from the rise of atheism in the US - anybody that thinks a valid point was made in those videos needs to have their heads examined.

Aithiests - Cured cancer in the name of Science
Christians - Declared 4 crusades in the name of god.
While I know this is a crude, out-of-context example, the point is, people do a great deal more for a god, than for a lack of one. And if the concern is that a lack of god is a lack of morality, I choose to ignore your question altogether, out of a distaste for ignorance.

I denounce all mysticism as the antithesis of reason. Nonsense of any kind shouldn't be considered or tolerated in any decision that affects any one else, especially in trade, law enforcement and government. Unless you have reason, science, logic, or math to back up your decision you haven't a leg to stand on, you have no argument, you have to shut up. This is not militant, this is not a threat, this is reason! How dare any human being stand for anything less.
