It would take quite a long time to write all of that. God is the God of 'Set Times' , 'Appointed Times' or otherwise translated as 'Feasts'. They all mean the same thing from the same Hebrew word.

What God was doing is setting up the way things would happen in the future. The term typically used by Christians to describe things that were observed but not 'the reality' or the 'fulfillment' of the Set Time is 'Types and Shadows'. Things that told of the fulfillment.

So God could be said to have 'wound up a clock', and the clock instead of minutes and hours would have 'Feasts'.

I will show you a few sites that deal with 'Feasts', since that is what those of the Jewish religion call them. Some of them have been fulfilled, like Passover, and Pentecost. But others still have their fulfillment pending, like the 'Feasts of the Tabernacles' and the 'Feast of the Trumpets'.

Here are the sites:

EDIT: In response to those who said that God does not measure time, they are not talking about the God of the Bible. The God who knows the numbers of hairs on your head measures EVERYTHING. He is careful, in more than one sense of the word.

A day to God is a 1000 years to us. God has no time and time is not in heaven. God gives us time because we have death and all things on earth have time to be born to live and die and be risen from the graves. So dont worry about time for you will be a old person and so time is on your side and time brings wisdom and sadness and hope for the earth. Remember God will come when no one knows the time nor hour because he is everlasting there will be no winding up your clocks when He comes for all things will stop as we see the end when He saves us who are faithfull.

Read Matthew chapter 24 starting at verse 24. Jesus tells the disciples the signs of the end times. By his description then, No, we are a ways off yet. We are only at the very beginning of the end.

No Email. just read.

Believe in God the father and Jesus Christ whom he has sent.

Forget the time clock and the end of days. Worrying about them will do you no good. You must be borne again.

When you are borne again by the power of the risen Christ, when you have been touched by God, when you know that you are known, none of this will be important.

God doesn't measure time. But if you are looking at how we can calculate time according to God, you will find the answer in 2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

So when God created the earth in one day... 1,000 years to us.

Supposedly, God exists out side of time.

The fact that this, combined with his supposed omniscience raises all sorts of problems as far as what God can and can't do within the universe always goes un-regarded by the religious (I secretly think they either don't understand the paradox or choose to ignore it)
