Yes, it is wrong. This is called the pity date.
Date someone for other reasons.
When in doubt, just go for coffee, or lunch. Those are non committal, friendly get togethers. Those "dates" just say, we are friends, and care for each other. Wouldnt that make you happy?

It is very wrong to date someone that you don't like, much less think you have a future with. If you don't like the person just let them down gently, but don't give them any hope. Make it clear that you don't like them, as mean as it sounds.

Not if I didn't care about them, I think its wrong if you have no feelings but everyone is different as long as u both agree to it go for it!

Doing that will result in getting your own heart crushed. My friend did this. He dated her to make her happy. But then she started stalking him.

Obviously. It would hurt that person even more if u tell him the truth and it hurts u to be with someone u don't like. It's bad for both. So, don't do it.

yea it is. You're not being true to yourself.
What if someone came along that you like? Then you'll have to break his heart or stay with him.
Be truthful to him. If you're not interested, tell him. Don't toy with their feelings or it will come back to you.
