Nothing can 'create' evolution, evolution is merely a natural process that occurs because some animals are better suited for their environments than others. Evolution would occur with or without the presence of a God; all that is required for evolution to occur is a life form with DNA that is capable of sexual reproduction. Once you have those two elements, evolution will occur, whether God likes it or not, unless God were to go in manually and fiddle around with the DNA to make sure nothing changes.

Evolution is the most rigorously-tested scientific theory in all of science, we know it happened, we know it happens, and we've tested it in laboratories. Evolution is everywhere.

For any reasonable Christian (read: not a Creationist), I think the basic idea is that God 'guided' evolution along to create humans. This seems very reasonable to me, because it doesn't interfere with religion, but also doesn't try to deny evolution.

Now, I'm an atheist, so I won't speak for Christians, but that's what I think most moderate or liberal Christians who believe in evolution believe.

I don't deny evolution. The proof or dis-proof of evolution does not change my belief in God. God created every living thing on this planet so whether we are closely related to apes doesn't change that. We are all equal and have a purpose. Time on the other side is not the same as time here by the way and it does talk about that in the bible as well.

Of course! Even the Bible supports evolution.

For example: Evolution is basically a species adapting to environmental changes.

Before the great flood (Noah, the big ark, all the animals two by two, etc.), the Bible mentions people living to be 900 years old and still having children when they were 500 or 600.

Genesis 5:5
Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

Genesis 5:4
The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.

Genesis 5:3
When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

After the flood, a huge environmental change, people started living shorter lives, and childbirth at an advanced age was an absolute miracle.

Genesis 17:17
Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself, "Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?"

That is the only way I can believe in a God. Evolution has been proved(sorry christians), but God hasn't. So, God made the big bang and what was 7 days to him was 65million years on earth, everybody wins!

When it comes to human beings evolution is simply not true. The Bible said that God took dirt from the ground and formed Adam and if one tries to distort that by saying, 'yeah He did it over thousands of years'. Well you are going to definitely have a problem with the next part where God put Adam to sleep and removed a rib to make Eve. Just leave God's power as it is and if you want to believe that man evolved from apes, well, good luck with that.

Sure. If said hypothetical omnipotent being existed, he could do whatever he wanted. He could make the sky pink and the moon out of cheese. Evolution would be easy for him to set up.

People think God couldn't create evolution?

Wow, not a very powerful God. I guess your God thing can't do everything now can he?

The idea of adam and eve is preposterous. There is no way a species could have survived with such a small gene pool to breed from.

God does exist and no, he did not create evolution. Evolution is a false theory created by man.
