Sh*t happens. That's life. Everything is random and not everybody has good luck all the time.

I do not feel a need to explain it. Because it DOES happen - all the time, in fact. And yet it has never effected my faith in God.
Terrible things happen to good people every day. Its always been like this. I say that this is because human beings have free will. And free will has led humans to create a world where terrible things happen to good people.
It was free will that allowed Hitler to rise to power.
It is through free will that poverty is tolerated in the world while a small number of people live well.
But free will has also been responsible for great things.
Again, I don't see it as any great theological conundrum or contradiction.

Depends on your definition of good/bad so also your thoughts. Its a complex question because there are things you may have done in past that are affecting you.
One simple reason is that a "good" person has wisdom to understand the overall implications of a given action whereas a "bad" person may not know the same, so a good person avoids something whereas a bad person takes it and enjoys the same, making the "good" person feel low for some time.

It all depends on what you think good and bad. By the way, how do you know for sure that the people you call 'good' really are 'good' people? And how do you define a 'thing' as good or bad?
Let me ask: Life is good, death is bad, right? wrong. What about a patient suffering from say something like cancer in the mouth? Cant eat or drink, cant move, cant see or hear properly, he just waits for death to eat him away slowly, bit by bit. Now, do you think life is worth living than a quick, pain-free death to that man?

I think that God created the universe with a system in place so it could sustain itself. That system is basically the laws of physics. Chance, chaos, etc etc causes cataclysms and various other bad things which happen to good people.
We were given the ability to chose for ourselves what path we would take through the universe, and it's up to us to deal with the consequences of those choices. Because we're people, not God's Barbie Dolls and he's not going to save anyone who can't save themselves.

I'll explain from a non-religious pov (agnostic)
People are inherently selfish to a point of apathy. That means if others are hurt, they will not help most of the time. Despite all this bullsht talk about community everywhere I go, I basically wouldn't trust any of them to watch my back ever. In fact if someone jumped me, I'm betting there would be a ring to cheer it on. I don't expect people to be selfless but pretending to be otherwise sickens me.
"Bad" people have more resources and are willing to do more things, simply by the fact they're less limited. Most of the ways to get ahead in life are by trampling over other people.
The great randomness of life. Luck just screws some over. "Somebody" will get run over by a car. Or get cancer.

Everyone has trials and tribulations in this life. There are no truly 'good' people. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That's why Jesus died for our sins. He took our punishment for us. No one can ever be good enough on their own. This is the good news. Salvation is a free gift from God. Cool!!!

Nothing happens without reason. So called good people, who are at the receiving end know it fully well but are shy to admit it.

Simple: they aren't "good People".
Proverbs 14:11 (New American Standard Bible)
"The house of the wicked will be destroyed,
But the tent of the upright will flourish."

Why do bad things happen to good people?
Why do good things sometimes happen to bad people?
Because, my friend-- life is not fair. Sometimes it just plain sucks. Sometimes you just get unlucky. That's life.
