You can meet Him everyday in your prayer time. We have something greater than the disciples when Jesus walked the eath before His resurrection...The Holy Spirit,Who leads us into ALL truth & knowledge.
The Bible says blessed are those that believe and have not seen (Jesus),but still believe.

bear in mind this verse in 2 Peter 3:8--- "yet, loved, be not blind to this one project, that at some point is with the Lord as one thousand years, and one thousand years as at some point." whilst the Bible makes use of the word 'quickly,' i think that the word is speaking with the aid of God's attitude of what quickly is. If it have been speaking in human words of quickly, Jesus ought to've got here returned in below a week after His ascension. yet once you're staring at quickly with the aid of the human attitude, you may ask your self why it may look that Jesus is taking see you later to return. He delays His return because of the fact He nevertheless has extra human beings upload to His kingdom and carry forth the Gospel to those international locations that have never heard His call. "And this gospel of the dominion would be preached interior the full international as a sworn assertion to all international locations, and then the tip will come." -Matthew 24:14 on the comparable time, you need to leaf with the aid of a spiritually discerned eye to ascertain that Jesus' return is coming "quickly." The Bible elaborates that interior the tip cases how human beings will act (2 Timothy 3:a million-5) and in case you study this scripture, you will see how correct it extremely is to now and that we are interior the tip cases. so which you notice, the tip attracts nigh, yet Jesus delays His return. desire I helped. :)

We're allowed to meet him in Heaven.

Back when Jesus was living, the entire world, except for a few individuals, lived in sin. Jesus had a bigger job to do. He had to change the world.

Now-a-days, not so many people live in sin. Not such a big job to do, since we now know of Christ's existence, we can choose whether to believe or reject Him.

We get to meet Him in Heaven, or if we're lucky, he'll come to Earth again during our lives. :)

That is as simple as the age that we live. We also did not get to see the birth of the US, the civil war, the advent of the steam train, the automobile, running water, electricity and many, many other things.

Think of ALL the people who never had use of a telephone, telegraph, Western Union, the internet, video, MTV, TV, radio..............

We simply can not all be living at the same time.........the earth would not house us all......farmers could not feed us all...there would not be enough work.........

we simply exist in another era.

It's all about how you define "meet". But I don't think that anyone is "unallowed" to attempt creating the spiritual connection you are referring to.

We DO get to meet Him, through prayer. His Spirit lives inside of us, remember? In fact, I talk to Him everyday, don't you?

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: Blessed are they that hath not seen, and yet have believed." (John 20:29 KJV)

The Book of Revelations - he's coming back with a big can of whoopass. Until then, I don't have to see Him with my eyes to know He is right beside me.
