So, if you are joking... then no worries.
However, if you are not joking... hmmm:
I think the question you must ask yourself is, what if the lord hath already returned and thou wast not ready...oh dear.
What if you were asleep upon the bed of heedlessness and did not hearken onto his sweet melody?
What if you were simply not found to be worthy or did not have the capacity to recognize him?
Better bring out the margarita kits and forget about it. Or, do a little online research. Or... better yet just let go.
No, on a softer note... we usually come to the truth when we let go. It's hard trying to catch a butterfly, but sometimes when you give up and just sit in an open field, a butterfly will come and sit on your shoulder.
:)

well...we don't know when Jesus Christ will come back...
so, what we should do to prepare for the second coming of the Lord are :
1> pray earnestly for others who still don't know Jesus as savior and Lord, so that they might to know him
2> read bible daily
3> tell the Good News to unbelievers
4> be churchgoers
5> pray to God so that we don't fall into temptation

i either want to be dead, dying, or going along with him. i dont want to be in the middle of the chaos. if i did have to stay on earth i'd wear a t-shirt that says "i love Jesus" and i'd carry a sign that says
"Jesus has come." then they'd definately shoot me and i could go be with the lord.

(John 17:1-5) 17 Jesus spoke these things, and, raising his eyes to heaven, he said: “Father, the hour has come; glorify your son, that your son may glorify you, 2 according as you have given him authority over all flesh, that, as regards the whole [number] whom you have given him, he may give them everlasting life. 3 This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. 4 I have glorified you on the earth, having finished the work you have given me to do. 5 So now you, Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was.

A tarp wouldn't be a bad idea. There will be a seven-headed whore making an appearance beforehand. Lots can happen with seven heads.

Physical shields will not help. You need to purify your mind and your heart and keep it that way, for, no man knoweth the time of his coming.

I think that might be something you have to ask yourself. We are all looking for answers, but do we even know what the questions are?
