i found an adaptor on newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814998201

I was wondering if i can connect my ps3 to my monitor with an hdmi cable using this adaptor

you can't use an adapter to get from vga to hdmi because vga is analog and hdmi is digital

the adapter on newegg is from hdmi to dvi-d, and your monitor doesn't have a dvi input

you would have to by a converter for $100+ to get from hdmi to vga

if the xbox 360 has a component out (three video cables: red, green, and blue) then you could convert that to vga, because they are both analog (i don't know what outputs an xbox 360 has)

I don't see why not, but you'll have to figure out audio output since VGA doesn' transfer the sound.
