Give up the religion of the One True God to make some people feel better about their sins?
Yes.. and then we could let all the psychotic murderers out of prison so as not to hurt their feelings.
Then perhaps teach school children that life is a fluffy bunny, and anything they ask for instantly appears. And when they ask for something, get it to them immediately as to not hurt their feelings.

why not give up on religion and find God through His Son Jesus- and then no one would be hurt, because perfect love cast out hate and fear

i'm working on it. it's core theology is that everybody has a right to believe what they want. the scripture is slow in the making. i honestly don't know how joseph smith pulled it off.
