I believe you. They often label it as some other type of fur when it really is dog fur...I'm going to find the video for you...it is very disturbing though..

Whether or not they're telling the truth 100%, I don't know...but that is the video where I learned about it!

It's disgusting. And no nothing here with fur came from China.
As a matter of fact very little here has a Made In China stamp on it.

In China, dogs are considered livestock/food animals. In India, they would be just as offended and shocked by your leather jacket. Not defending China, just pointing out a huge difference in culture. I avoid Chinese products when I can, but it's not easy to do-you don't always know where the parts of a product came from, just where it was all put together. The same is true of food products-there's the scary thing!

Thats the least of the garbage that comes from China, a savage filthy country where they imprison women for carrying condoms, where they have no environmental protections, where you cannot have more than 1 child, and where you are the property of the government.
We have no fur because ANY fur comes from an animal.

I'm sure that is a lie. Not because it's impossible that the Chinese use dog fur. But because your cat probably would not hiss at dead dog fur. Why would she? It's not a dog. It's just dog fur. Like my cat never had any interest in my rabbit fur even though she sure is interested in living rabbits.
Second, how would you "have the fur studied" exactly? You had forensic tests done on it? That would cost you an arm and a leg.
I think if your friend told you that they were just messing with you. It would be nigh on impossible for them to have proven it was dog fur easily. A lot of stuff from China is made with rabbit fur. If it's real fur, that is probably what it is.

That shouldn't come as surprise. They eat dog over there so they need to find a use for the fur.
I have NOTHING made china.
If I can't find what I need that was made in USA, UK, Canada, Australia I do without. They are at least friendly to the USA and don't demand gobs of aid then stab in the back........

I'm curious how you know it was dog fur.
When society keeps trying to get things cheaper and cheaper the only some companies compete is to buy cheaper materials and labor. In some places they do not have the same morals we have about using dogs for fur.

I went to China. I walked through a market and saw a Saint Bernard skin hanging on a line for sale. I felt HORRIBLE. I was in shock, it’s so sad.

no, I don't.
I think it's a good reason not to buy anything with "fake" fur.
