I'm looking for ideas. I'm baking this weekend (chocolate chip, gingerbread & fudge) and want another type of cookie to make.

I saw a recipe for the peanut butter blossom cookie recently which usually has a hersey kiss on it, but instead they used a Brach's Chocolate star. I thought that was a nice variation. I also saw a picture of pecan sandies that instead of being rolled in the usual powered sugar, they stirred in some edible colored sparkle sugar in with the powered sugar. They called them Frosty snowballs.

Sugar cookies are always delicious and decorative. Bake some sugar cookies into festive shapes and put lots of Christmas colored sprinkles on them.
