Could those have been signs that he liked me????

He grabs around my waist in a hug
he makes kissy faces sometimes and One night I was hanging out with my horse and he came out and picked me up and brought me in the house and sat me on the couch we watched a movie and he looked over at me he whispered since another person was in the comp. room if I wanted to hold his hand and I did then he layed down with his head on my lap and held my hand he also kissed my hand!!!! But now he has another girlfriend cause I was to scared to really get into a relationship he is 8 yrs older than I am

but yet he still looks at me while he sits next to her and tries to hug me

These are sure signs that he likes you . He is,however, shy in making the first initiative and is awaiting some positive clear move from you.If you like him,go ahead.
