Regarding hell/damnation after the afterlife, keep this in mind:
1) Noone knows what hell or heaven is, only God knows.
2) God is love and mercy. His judgement will be wiser and kinder than any of us imagine. Just because someone says they know God doesn't mean they do.
3) Anyone who says they know someone will be condemned to hell and what it entails is comparing themselves to having God's knowledge. I consider it a sin- one that few religious people realise they commit.
4) In Judaism/the old testament, there's no hell at all. The new testament is a much shorter book. In the new testament, the wording can be interpreted in a way that there's a strong argument hell is only temporary and that hell itself is destroyed and everyone's restored to God. At the very least, hell is not eternal torturing.
5) There were 'heretical' early Christian teachers like Origen, Gregory of Nyssa and Clement of Alexandria who said hell will not be eternal damnation; it'll be a place for purification from sin and return to God. Although their view was rejected by the majority hundreds of years later, many early Christians believed this. These teachesr are still considered saints by the church. Their afterlife-ttheory is called Apokatastasis.
6) It's good to fear God. 'Fear' doesn't mean be terrified of God (though terrifying things do happen in life); it means respect, as you acknowledge God's power and how little power you have. We may feel at the top of the world now, but should something bad happen that we can't control we realise how fragile we are. Fear in God makes you more humble and thoughtful.

Let me clear something up for you.
God, damnation, heaven, hell, all IMAGINARY. The doctrine, deal, whatever you want to call it, is INSANE. Follow this example...
Remember the game show Let's Make a Deal?
You NEVER KNOW what's behind the doors. There might be a new car, or there might be 200 cans of cat food. Monte Hall always gives you the option... keep what you have, or trade for one of the doors. You're not coerced. The choice is entirely your own.
The Christian god's "free will"...
God TELLS YOU that behind door #1 is a great prize (heaven), and behind door number #2 is eternal torment (hell.) He SUGGESTS you choose door number one, but you are given the option to choose door number 2 if you prefer burning. You can opt to not choose either door, but only temporarily, because before you leave the studio you'll be forced to choose door #2 anyway.
Now, what have we learned? We've learned that god's free will isn't actually free will at all, it's COERCION because the ONLY options you're given are eternal pleasure, or eternal pain.
Once you're told god's game exists, you're never allowed to not play.
Where is the "freedom" in this?

You cannot discover reality simply through the use of rationale. If God exists, He can reveal himself to you. Logic has nothing to do with it. If God is righteous, it is not strange that sinful people might not understand God. But He can reveal the truth to you, if you ask him to do so.
James 1:5:
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

That is a good question. One that has been asked since time began. Satan challenged Eve with that way of thinking and led her astray.
"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. (Genesis 3:4)
If God is who He claims to be, then He is telling the truth.
If He is not, then...you're off the hook!
Is that a gamble you can seriously wager?
No one can presume to know the mind of God, and He owes no one an explanation. However He does answer many of our questions in the Bible.
Find out for yourself!

We can live forever. We have the brain capacity to fulfill it but not the heart. We all have to be Einstien's so to say. Even though Einstien wasnt that smart and I think I spelled his name wrong. Stop reading man written religions and start feeling it.
