When I was a child I thought that God was a mere myth but as a grew older and far more intelligent I began asking myself how the laws of the universe such as the laws of physics and the laws of life stay in order. Why? Well then I began asking myself and then I soon compared God to a president although God is far more intelligent, either he is apart of an advanced race that soon discovered the ability to create life, or he is a being that popped out of nowhere and created life for the hell of it! Society and scientsists are learning how to create life therefore we are an amature version of God.

I mean every time I think about how are universe is in order I always come to a conclusion that something is controling it but if you think about it the structure of a building has a relation to your body such as you and the stucture both have the same origin which was from a hydrogen star. Humans and Hydrogen stars are born the same way. Hydrogen dust that is floating aurond finds a gravitational pull therefore after the gravitational pull all the Hydrogen is forced into one spot therefore forming a star which in a course of fusion will turn into helium, lithium, boron, etc., humans when we have a union between the male and female gametes (sperm and eggs) then the baby has formed. When we Hydrogen stars are first given birth they eat up all their of sustained Hydrogen dust to form Helium, Lithum, Boron, etc., when humans are given birth they start eating, then they grow, then eventually they become so old and the skin starts to overlap on the person that it forms rinkles (compare skin to Hydrogen turning into Helium, Lithium, and Boron.) Humans and stars die the same way too, first all of our organs become old and our body cannot sustain itself, when a Hydrogen star dies it runs out of Hydrogen dust and the core therefore in desperate measures searches for more Hydrogen dust, if it can find more hydrogen dust by like orbiting another star then it lives but if it can't then it simply burns itself out like we humans do unless we get shot be a gun (then our death is another story.)

But of course if you compare a child to a parent he will often repeat the parent through characteristics. If both parents have the same gene such as blond hair then the boy or girl will have blond hair. Therefore children who have very nice parents tend to be nice thus I have often thought that the if God is truly the creator of everything then the characteristics of good came from him and characteristics of evil came from Satan. Last, I find that every person I know hates being alone but why is that? Well if God did create everything from nothing then all there of a true exsistence is God therefore if we are alone God can't piece himself together.

The laws of physics is another thing too. Okay lets just say you are a police chief and everything is chaotic first things first you have to tell the people under you to get to work. You are the only one who knows how to command them therefore I compare it to the laws of physics. If there was noone commanding us to come down unto the original point in which we had jumped from wouldn't we just float? If there was noone orchastrating it then everything would be chaotic such as the instance in which I had given you above.

I hate it when I always have to listen to that crap about how God can control everything but they don't tell us how! I want proof! Therefore I use my mind... my intelligence to find the solution.

You see, according to the Bible, where a Christian claims the written truth is found, God said that there were certain people who He wanted out of the world. He gives the ability to 'discover' Him to those certain people. That is why I believe in God. For some reason, He wanted this sinning awful person; me.

Jesus promised those who believe in Him the Holy Spirit. And it's through that Spirit, the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead, who gave me the ability to turn away from my natural born nature, to a spiritual nature - to believe in Him. God gets the credit for me believing in Him. To which I say, " Glory to God."

I believe in God not because anything special happened to me, but because I feel like a better, happier person having faith in him. After all, it's quite amazing how many things in this earth opperate in a system as if someone designed it.

To believe that we all came from the big bang theory, is to ignore the fact that there are so many things in this world that lead to clues to someone creating us.

I know I'll get a lot of people dissagreeing with me, but that's my personal oppinion. You can't change my views.

I've had a revelation while studying scripture in the book of Leviticus that opened my eyes to the fact that I was reading instructions based on some ones scientific knowledge that wasn't part of human knowledge on Earth at the time it took place which was 3500 years ago. The Bible is quoting that some one speaking these laws of science to a man named Moses as, The Lord, your God, your Creator.

I was raised, but I also believe in him because I have had prayers answered before, and what would be the point of living if there was no place to go in the end. What would be the point of following rules and having morals if there was no ultimate reward?

Green Eyed Girl,
I was not raised in Church. My parents worked all of the time and we were unable to attend most services at any church. I had a near-death experience just prior to my high school graduation and ended up in a coma. I studied and searched for GOD for several years and finally had a Bible study about age 30 with my wife and two older friends. My wife and I were baptized at the end of the Bible Study and have been faithful members since that time. We have attended the same Non-Denominational Church from that time on (about twenty years). Have a great week.
Thanks,
Eds

actually i was raised to believe in him ...but that really didnt matter because i had to learn and believe for myself.
you see, you cant just say God this and God that and expect people to know what you're talkin about. Because if you havent personally experienced him for yourself...then how could you relate to someone else's testimony or story. Life in itself is about findin yourself and creatin your identity. I believe in God now because i have been throught the experience i needed. i trust that he will do what is best 4me!

My parents were Catholic and I went to Catholic schools. I still believe in God and not because of my upbringing but because it makes the most sense. It is easier to accept something by faith than to believe in some theory the may/will be proved wrong. Peace

I have to think that there is a higher power that made this, because it is to great to be just a chance coincidence.
Every culture has a belief in a higher power and a spirit world. I am not convinced that the "Christians " have the sole license to God.

I was raised with the knowledge there is a God but I found him mostly on my own. The thing that made me believe was reading the bible and going to church and seeing all that he has created.
