Yamaha, Drelinger or others suggested by answer above. It all depends on the tone that you want! Do you want bright or a more mellow jazzy tone. Sometimes depends on your level too. Best thing is to take your Flute to a shop like Flute world and try them! There are other specialist woodwind stores around. Take your Flute teacher too they know your playing best other than you!

Drelinger heads are outstanding. http://www.drelinger.com/

Goosman is right up there too. http://butterflyheadjoints.netfirms.com/

If you're thinking wood - Bigio woodens are awesome. http://www.bigio.com/headjoints.html

Just adding the Bigio crown and stopper to your existing headjoint can make an awesome difference too.

Full Circle woodens are an affordable option for those on a budget. http://www.headjoints.com/ These have a really warm sound and respond very well.

Check out Flute World's list of headjoints - some awesome choices there. http://www.fluteworld.com/index.php?action=pk&wart=hjnt
