Well , I found that (although my intentions were good) I usually forgot. So i asked for forgiveness and from then on , I prayed for them right away And what I say is that, I'll pray for you ( which I do ) and then if I remember again later I pray then too.
And If I feel the need to be diligent in my prayers for someone, I ask God to help me remember, plus I write my self notes.

I have a really bad memory, but when I remember them when I say my nightly prayers I try to remember to included them..... I am a spiritual, religious person. Sometimes it might just be that I need to take a second or two when they ask for me to pray for them to say a prayer for them right then. or if I say I will pray for them to say it right them.

Some people will remember to keep praying for that person.
Some say a prayer and allow God to handle it.
Some just use that as an expression of Love and concern.

Yes, I usually try to write it down if I cant pray then and there with them. Our study group actually does this too. In groups of four, we'll discuss what we need prayer for and we'll pray for each other.

The act of saying I will pray for you is a prayer in itself. Peace

Yes. Usually I'll pray right away so I don't forget. Then I try to remember to pray again later also.

When I pray, I always include "all those for whom I have promised to pray". If you believe in God and the power of prayer, you certainly believe that He will know for whom your prayers are intended!

I usually remember because I know prayer works. God has reminded me often to by placing someone in my thoughts. Do we always listen, I hope so for he's done so much for me and my family.
