You will need all the help for pretraining before you report. For one, start by doing all the physical activities. Physical activities, I mean doing the push up's, the pull up's, the running, etc. But be prepared to be mentally beat down. You are joining the Marines, and there is a reason why their motto is "The Few, The Proud". Thank you and God bless.

Both. Marine pretraining is not a daily regimine.
Supplement pretraining with your own workouts.

getting in shape on your own would be find if you had the motivation. i would recommend having some exorcising partners if you were to do it on your own without the pretraining

From one Marine to a future one....... Get ready before you go or you will be sorry. i recomend an hour a day of a hard workout of running, weight, sit ups, and of course push ups. But even more than the phsyical be ready for the mental stress of bootcamp. You are nothing and the Corps is everything. BE PREPARED for the greatest adventure of your life. Be PREPARED if you want in my CORPS.We are the best and we only want the best.
