Anyone interested in the idea of starting a yahoo group to share ideas information and (if you want) images ?
What are your thought on this?

EDIT:
This includes people who "paint" with photoshop etc.but the emphasis is on the creation of artworks, whether with a photographic base or not.
There are already a lot of groups that's specialise in photographic technique .
Vance you are very welcome, if it doesn't suit you, that's ok too. There is nothing there yet, The group site was made about 30 minutes ago. Here is the link..

I started this Yahoo Group, "3rd Millennium Arts " as an art discussion group quite a while ago... it didn't grow so I haven't done anything with it for a long time.

Sure, that would be great, it's been tried before and didnt work but it's worth a go at it again 5 years after the fact, I'm game!

If you want to get people who are serious about photography you may want to consider a free account at one of the websites listed at http://www.smilelikeumeanit.com/stock.html
Dream time may be the best bet for active "groups" or forums.

i don't know how professional i'd be considered, but i think it would be helpful...especially if there are helpful and honest critiques in a "show and tell" corner...i'd very much like to be a part of it.
