I like revolvers. I have a bunch of them when everyone changed from revolvers to automatics. In Los Angeles, you could buy them for a song in pawnshops. Colt Official Police, Colt Metropolitans, Colt Police Positive, Colt Pythons, Troopers, Agent, Ruger Speed Six, Security Six, Service Six, Old Smith and Wesson Model Tens, and Fifteens. With the exception of the Python, these were all police trade ins and were quite cheap. Plus, my Dad died, and I inherited his guns.

From a law enforcement stand point i believe that an officer should be able to carry a larger caliber weapon than they are issued. Most police departments issue a 9mm Glock which has minimal stopping power. I personally believe in a .45 for a police officer but the liberals say it is to powerful and may cause accidental deaths of the innocent. People must realize that our peace officers are out gunned on the streets.
From a military stand point there is not greater standard issue weapon than the AR-15 (modified m-16)
