Answer: Jesus is not Michael the Archangel. The Bible nowhere identifies Jesus as Michael (or any other angel for that matter). Hebrews 1:5-8 draws a clear distinction between Jesus and the angels, “For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? Or again, "I will be His Father, and He will be my Son"? And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, "Let all God's angels worship Him." In speaking of the angels He says, "He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire." But about the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.” Angels worship Jesus. The angels are called sons of God (Genesis 6:2-4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7), but Jesus is THE Son of God (Hebrews 1:8; Matthew 4:3-6).
Michael the Archangel is perhaps the highest of all the angels. Michael is the only angel in the Bible who is designated “the Archangel” (Jude verse 9). Michael the Archangel, though, is only an angel. He is not God. The clear distinction in the power and authority of Michael and Jesus can be seen in comparing Matthew 4:10 and Jude verse 9. In Matthew 4:10, Jesus rebukes Satan. In Jude verse 9, Michael the Archangel calls on the Lord to rebuke Satan. Jesus is God incarnate (John 1:1,14). Michael the Archangel is a powerful angel, but still only an angel.

Go to a JW website or do a search on JW beliefs. The Bible says that an angel told Mary she would have a son and his name would be Jesus. Nothing about Jesus being an angel of any kind.

Jesus was never an angel....he was born to a human Mother and to the Holy spirit as his Father...he was God in the flesh and walked among men. He is now on the right hand of the Father,,,which means he now has assumed his rightful place in glory that he gave up to become like us. When he returns,,he will return in all his Glory and power...as God Almighty.....the King of kings and Lord of lords....take a look at this scripture in Revelations and tell me who was doing the speaking:
Revelation 22:13
New American Standard Bible
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
That is Jesus speaking.....and that is exactly who God says he is.....Jesus was God in the flesh...not an angel...ever..

Jesus is the Son of God
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Jesus is God, which JWs deny
John 20:28
And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus is the Word of God and creator, which the JWs deny.
John 1:14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus is part of the Trinity, which JWs deny.
1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
Jesus in not an angel. He is God in the flesh and a part of the trinity.

I don't know who the "JW"s are but the short answer is no. Thats absurd.
The longer answer is Jesus is the Son of God. Micheal the Archangel was exactly that, the archangel. Second in line after Lucifer.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God the Father, is the Jehovah of the Old Testament.
Michael the Arcangel is none other than Adam, one that helped Jehovah create this earth.

No.
For to which of the angels did He ever say:
“ You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
“ I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”? Heb. 1:5
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Jn. 8:58
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Jn. 1:14
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9

NOoooooooooooooooooooooo. Micheal is AN angel of the Lord. NOT JESUS. Jesus isn't an angel for goodness sake. Although in the Bible when it says THE angel of the Lord appearred, we think it could mean God himself.

I have looked into it. I personally couldn't find any reason to believe Jesus was Michael before coming to earth. It seems clear they are totally separate to me. Also, how could Michael be mentioned by name after Christ's birth if they were one in the same?
