how do u make ur-self a happier person when u are always down and u dont know y ur always down. u just r.

treat yourself to whatever you want for a day and try to relax. get candles and take a bubble bath with your favorite music on. do whatever you need to do to make yourself feel better and that's when you'll have the energy to make yourself feel happy. eat cake and ice cream and oreos. buy really expensive perfume and clothes because it'll make you feel that you are a person who deserves to be pampered. it'll help. but make sure not to do it everyday. once a month is enough.

Sounds a lot like depression to me. Keeping active and thinking about others can sometimes help, but there might also be a need for counseling. I know firsthand how depression can weigh a person down. Spending too much time alone can also be a downer. Try to be around happy people and to do nice things for others. That will help at least temporarily.

Life, liberty and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS is guaranteed by the founding documents of the USA. Happiness, it implies, is not a given but something to be pursued. But happiness is a given; it is one of the 6-8 basic emotions we are born with. One of the other basic emotions is sadness or depression. They both come and go during a normal life. When one or the other persist it is due, not to a chemical imbalance, but to a persistent mental ATTITUDE as one previous answer said.

To gain the attitude leading to happiness I have found one needs to know for a certainty that one is: 1.. truly loved by someone and accept that love so that you can give of your own feelings; 2.. Have a means to occupy your mind and body in a rewarding way; 3.. Have your basic life needs satisfactorily supplied.

When you perceive that any one or more of these three things is not present in your life you develop a negative attitude toward your present situation. That is depression and it is a God given or evolved signal to CHANGE COURSE!
You have to achieve a positive attitude toward your life situation. If you think it is not possible to change something that in itself is a negative perception. Nothing in life is really impossible! Get that positive attitude toward your situation.

Go get counselling. You can ether find out what is making you feel down, or you can learn ways to deal with it more effectively so that its not as bad.
