difference
VISTA HOME - basic tasks only
VISTA PREMIUM - includes vista home + windows media center
VISTA BUSINESS - does not have windows media center but has fax and file encription
VISTA ULTIMATE - has just abt any feature of 3 previous versions + has some additional games which were supposed to be delivered last month but ms has not finished them yet so hasn't been delivered to owners of vista ultimate yet
yes aero is standard on all versions of vista

Simply put ---- power and the big difference in the amount of memory ram--- depending on if it"s a 32 or 64bit operating system -- 512mb to 2gigs to 4 gigs to 8 gigs to 128 gigs plus.
