I was referring to the band Atheist.

I tried to find reason to not believe in God in my early teens. With all of my trying I could not find enough to outweigh the reasons I had to believe. The idea that no Christians have never subjected their belief to critical thinking is just not true. Even Mother Teresa agonized over her faith a belief.
Now you add in the details "the band Atheist?" Just an accidental omission? Really???? And it only took you 33 minutes to notice?

yah we do. The problem is, atheist embrace what they know as the truth and are they themselves, close minded to what else could be out there. Atheist says Christians are backward and close minded but they themselves cannot accept the possibility of an existence of something that is beyond this physical existence. Do Christians acknowledge the possibility that their beliefs are somehow purely fictional and untrue? On a personal note, yes, I did at one time seriously thought about it. More than one time actually. After carefully investigating actual existing physical evidence that God exist, I just cannot deny the truth of God existence.

Yes, i do. I'm Christian and I have a few Atheist friends who are wonderful people, and I like listening to them. We mostly just share information (but we don't try to convert each other or anything, I never try to with anybody), but we know each other well enough to not give out too much and start fights or anything, We do get into discussions and sometimes they get messy, but they usually end on good terms.

Once a discussion ended on bad terms and we didn't talk to each other for a while, since we didn't block each other we started talking again and thought that the fight was silly so we "became friends" again. lol. :)

I hope this answered your question! ♥

I do that all the time around here. Just because we have different views on the subject of religion doesn't mean that I don't value the thoughts and ideas of the many intelligent atheists on this Forum.

When I was still a Christian, Atheists had nothing good to say to me. However, now as an independent person, it seems both sides of the field don't have very good things to say. I still listen, but always doubt what is considered to be absolute truth.

Point to one atheist question posted here which isn't a shot at Christians or their beliefs. Just look at the winners we have here tonight and point to one question that isnt argumentative or out right insulting and I will listen.

Atheist's minds are dark and confused. They push the truth about God away from themselves and claim to be wise, but they become utter fools instead. This is what God says about them. So any one with any intelligence will not listen to them.

If you mean listen to the reason behind your feelings yes. Or scientific evidence of evolution yes. But from all the information out there, i disagree with you.

Honestly, Christians are hardly any different from Atheists.

Which Atheist? Yes, I listen to several.

EDIT - Oh, well in that case, never heard of them, sorry. I'm a big fan of 80s cheese and classic rock, I don't much listen to new music.
