only reason people get 360 is because of halo.. also halo overrated it sucks to me i hate it.. u can shoot a person all day and it won't kill them unless u hit them with ur gun...
anyways all my friends that have 360 they only got one game! which is halo..
if halo never existed wow microsoft wouldn't even made the 360.. becuase they wouldn't sold no xboxs..

All we can do is to take hats off, but not because of the game itself, but because of smart PR campaign launched by Microsoft. That's another proof, that if you'll advertise something long enough - you'll sell even a sand in the desert. IMHO, not the best game at all, but it's just overrated and overadvertised.

Agreed. Halo fans are Star Wars and Star Trek fans from the 90s. That's it, Halo is a crappy multiplayer game that was glad to come out during the online era, because if Halo came out before that it would be as popular as Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter. You can find it in the 5 dollar bin at Gamestop and it's the exact same game as Halo.

I am a Sony fan but you can't dismiss some other top notch 360 games.
Gears of War
Mass Effect
Bioshock
Lost Planet ( Coming to PS3 in 08)
Geometry Wars:Galaxies
Halo3 ( although completely overrated)
Blue Dragon ( I hate to admit that one)
Crackdown
Saint's Row ( Saint's Row 2 is coming to PS3)
Shadowrun

I don't know if Halo makes XBX, but Halo did get the gamers interested in the XBX.
I think Halo made XBL. Without Halo, I don't think XBL would be as popular as it is today.
