The basic premise is correct -- that there were pre-Christian parallels to Jesus in many ancient cultures. And it is true -- there are many examples of heroes, prophets, and gods that were born of a virgin, died, and were resurrected. Also, most solar deities were said to have been born on the Winter Solstice, because that is the shortest day of the year where the sun was seen to have been reborn. He stretches things a bit when he invents the etymology for sun set, hours, and horizon. There are some other stretches as well. It wasn't Horus that was killed by Set, it was his father Osiris. Horus avenged his father by killing Set. Anyway, this website is more accurate, and factual, and explains the Pagan origins of the Christ myth a bit more believably than this video does;

Interesting. I watched it all. The first 1 1/2 mins are the problem for YouTube and anyone else who would watch it... A very hateful attitude in my opinion. The rest is interesting though. Who knows.... Not me...

Most of it I was aware of. The astrological information was very interesting and enlightening and explains why all the myths are similar. I'm an Atheist so my opinions have not be altered.

Was that the same guy that done "The God that wasn't there"?

Wasn't that movie called "Zeitgeist" or something like that?
It's Interesting but no matter what you tell Christians they are programed to come up with excuses for not hearing,seeing or believing anyone except their Priest,Pastors or Reverends etc.etc etc.
It's ashame they stay scammed.

The truth shall set them free only if they see & listen.

For one thing, their origin of the word "hour" is complete balderdash. After I saw THAT little bit of creative scholarship, I lost all interest in anything else the video had to say.

Here. Learn something.
