Where on earth are you living? American citizens have fewer rights than ever. Patriot I, Patriot II, the Homeland Security Act, and recent legislation passed in the Senate and currently under review in the House, make personal opinion and personal rights almost obsolete if they dare offend anyone in power. This legislation is so loosely worded that almost any citizen could be convicted of treason.

They don't. Not since the Patriot Act. They can call you a terrorist, and then hold you incommunicado forever.
