ok, my friend has a computer,which can run either windows prof, or home ed. sp2, he mistakenly..?

Question

he mistakenly deleted the file for the start menu and the taskbar and now he cant get anything done.
he got a disc from a friend who told him the disc should have on the file but now he needs to find the file and the folder thats it belongs in con someone please help me
ps his computer cant reset(like mine)
id greatly appreciate it if u cud make it simple

I don't know what kind of keyboard that you have. In between the key "ctrl" & "alt", should be a key with a flag icon, click on that key and you still should be able to open all your files, go to accessories, system tools, and open system restore. See if there are dates to perform a system restore and restore your system. All should be fine.
