I've actually searched for that.
And no, I'm not kidding; I really have.
I once heard a sermon about it at church, as a child. I'd been staying with my grandparents, and upon getting home, I went into the front room, got out a Bible twice my size, and tried to figure out why they things in church that condemned and judged others.
I couldn't find anything.
I've concluded that it's not the religion, or the religious text, that's bad, necessarily. It's the way in which it's interpreted, and the way in which it's practiced.

First it isn't written in the Bible anywhere.Where do u get ur information from anyway, I see this all the time on this site, it seems odd that so many people have so much misinformation.
God is the only Judge not us, we can't really judge others because we can't know what is in their hearts.
Second we as believers can't condemn anyone to hell.
Only u can condemn ur self to hell. The choice is yours not mine if u go to heaven or hell.
After the suffering Christ went though for u, if u choose to reject the free gift of salvation He gave 2 u that is ur bad.

We don't condemn people to hell, they condemn themselves there by rejecting G-d. And to here is a little known passage of Scripture about judging from the New Living Translation.:
"Don't you know that someday we Christians are going to judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can't you decide these little things among yourselves? Don't you realize that we Christians will judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disagreements here on earth. " 1st Corinthians 6:2-3

no one on earth can choose all of us else through fact all have sinned and fall in need of God's glory. If we set ourselves up as judges, we can be judged with an identical judgment we make on others who're additionally sinners. that's what's written in the bible in Matthew financial ruin 7, verse a million and in Luke financial ruin 6, verse 37. Your assertion is consequently, genuine, in accordance to Christian doctrine.

"Judge not, lest ye be judged"
Archaic wording, but gets the point across well.
That doesn't mean that Christians cannot call some activities "wrong," because some things - rape, murder, etc. being the usual examples - are clearly spelled out as "wrong" in the Bible. Other peoples' wrongs, however, are no worse than your own, and thus you are in no place to judge them for it. That's up to God, and a good thing it is!

When I was a probation officer, it was not my job to judge or condemn people. That job belongs solely to the judge. However, it was my job to warn people that if they did certain things, the judge would be just, and judge them and condemn them. It would've been pretty mean of me, knowing the judge pretty well, to let people stay in their offenses without me warning them. Don'tcha think?

There is no such verse, but Christians are given the right by God to judge others according to their actions. Because born again Christians have Christ in their hearts and have His guidance and spiritual wisdom of His word, we are able to spiritually discern who's Christian and who's not. However, we do not have the right to say who goes to hell and who doesn't. We can only judge by actions whether or not a person 'practices what he/she preaches' if they profess to be 'christian'. God gives us wisdom and knowledge to discern according to His word.
Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

WE don't condemn you, we simply TELL you that God has condemned you already.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
2Cr 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

it doesn't. it says, "judge not lest ye be judged." that means, in short ,don't judge your fellow man as you yourself do not wish to be judged. what's your source? if you are going to quote the Bible, at least get it right. c of c girl
