im not quite sure but i know that a big part of jetlag is dehydration and jetlag can be reduced if you drink lots of water. also, this might be a shot in the dark, but some headaches are caused by allergies and maybe you have adapted to life in phoenix and when u go back home you are allergic to something and you react with headaches. just a possibility. i hope they go away and you feel better!

Try drinking plenty of non alcoholic fluids. There is something about a higher altitude and recycled cabin air that causes us to dehydrate when we fly. Try next time you fly and see if it helps get rid of the headaches which could be an indication of dehydration. Also could be jet lag from time zone changes.
