I'm not concerned with the debate. Most people aren't going to change their minds. Hopefully Americans have their eyes wide open now and are contacting their Representatives to get the problem fixed.

Right now no one is, because a great number of people are always addressing the borders indicating the problem is the Mexican people. There is a good number of illegals from Mexico, but look at all the different visas that have been issued and have expired, leaving the people still here in the US.illegal. The Mexican people aren't the rats that hide, they are out working, trying to make a living, people need to look at the people make changes, freedom/ rights groups.
You can get alot more work done with a group of Mexicans than you can from any other group of immigrants. When it comes to the problems with the Mexicans, set the laws, and help them go by the laws, you'll find no great group of people to support the US. They don't come to the US, get an education, then return to Mexico to take away the work that Americans have done over many years.
No I'm not Mexican, but I have worked with alot of them and have learned why they have had to do what they have done.

There is no debate. The illegals are still here. The borders are not yet adequately sealed. The Congress sent the president an immigration reform bill with so many hooks attached that he vetoed it, and rightfully so. When will Congress work for the American people? Pelosi won't. Reid won't .Biden can't.The Democratic controlled is the biggest flop in legislative history.

There is no way the people who want our borders sealed off and all illegals deported can possibly "win" the debate. Short of imposing martial law, there is no way to do that that wouldn't cost billions more than we are willing to pay. So ultimately, the pro-amnesty crowd will get their way, maybe not in a formal amnesty, but in practice.

Enough people finally complained enough to get the republicans to shoot down the amnesty bill 3 times so far. The dems are threatening to bring it back in '08. I wonder what part of NO do they not understand.

As Democrats and independents strengthen the Republican checklist on immigration, gutting the Border Patrol (mandating high priced digital surveillance jointly as trimming their funds), having Border Patrol brokers (Campion and Ramos) who use needed tension against Armed Drug working unlawful immigrants arrested and railroaded then paying off the Drug working unlawful Immigrant by ability of Giving him citizenship (devoid of the wait, tests or paper artwork) so as that he would testify. upload to that the shortcoming of action on immigration reform by ability of the Republicans. Republicans PLEASE save mentioning unlawful immigration PLEASE!

You call this a debate? It's more along the lines of: "Your mama wears army boots." "Does not." "Does too." "Does not." "Does too"...
