baptiser and preparer are nouns so i can't use them. i well affirmed on what he did when he was here on earth. i need descriptive adjectives and why they are used! thanks!

As a Christian I see him as a Great Prophet and Man. His Mother was also the Sister of Mary, the Mother of Jesus.

Jesus Called John The baptist the greatest born of women. That's quite an endorsement coming from the mouth of God Incarnate! But He also says John would be least in Heaven!
He was also humble, passionate in gettng out the word as commanded to him from God. He was firm with Herodias and Herod and ultimately lost his head over it!

Yochanan the Mikveh man doesn't have the same ring as John the Baptist does it ;)
In one word to describe him I'd say forerunner...he was the forerunner to Y'shua our Messiah.

Well, truth be known, he was kinda wierd. He ate locusts and wild honey.
So WIERD is one.
HUMBLE is another. He said he was not worthy.
