Ok so theres this guy who im friends with, lets say bob, and im pretty sure he likes me...he gave me a christmas card and one of my other friends told me bob likes me. But the thing is, i only like him as a friend- nothing more. What if he asks me out? what should i say? i dont want to hurt his feelings or be mean. Plus also i like sombody else, not bob

pretend it was reverse you liked him and he doesn't reciprocate, now tell him what it you would like to hear. he's gonna hate hearing "I like you as friend," but its better than leading him on. if you have that kind of relationship you might want to mention to him the guy you do have a crush on as a preemptive strike. (don't do this if he ask you out first!) be honest not cruel, that is always better in the long run.
