My husband is in hospital tonight, and it just reminded me of how much we take for granted the professionalism, dedication and sacrifice others make on our behalf. Some are paid. But not enough. Some are volunteers, and that shames Government, but restores our faith in human nature. I work with the Police force and acknowledge their dedication, the very difficult job they do, for little thanks. We take so much for granted.

Will you join with me in a prayer of thanksgiving for those who serve us?

I can so agree with you one his one. You have pretty much said something along the lines of one of my most passionate beliefs that I hold. We really do take a lot for granted from these very respectable, dedicated special people, and we are so lucky to have people like that on our earth and in our lifetime. I really do agree with you on this one. And so, I do ahve a little prayer here. Its not much, but I'm saying it because it expresses what I feel and what I think and have to say about such wonderful people. Oh and best wishes for your husband.

Dear Lord,
I thank you, Lord, for the wonderful people you have created and put on this earth, who help us out when we are int rouble, and help to make the world a better place. I thank you for giving these people such kindness. thankyou Lord.
Amen.

I am there with you. We all take too much for granted and have not idea how hard the jobs these people do are. We should be greatful everyday that there are people willing to pass up being rich for these careers, they are special people indeed. God's speed to your husband's recovery.
