to get to the other side?

God did not commit suicide. That actually sounds pretty stupid to me. Do you know how many people there are that "allow" themselves to be murdered to save another individual? Just because someone jumps in front of another person and takes a bullet for them, that's considered suicide? It's the same thing. Jesus could do nothing about it. He knew that it was coming, and He laid down His life (albeit not killing himself) for us.

You'd have to realize and trust that HE knew what HE was doing and what the outcome would be if quite a few people saw him via resurrection and roaming the cities. Eye witnesses claim to have seen Jesus roaming and walking around the living prior to HIS death.
The think you should be asking yourself now is, "What if it is all truth ? What if there is a God and HE wants us to be with HIM in Heaven for an eternity with HIM after we leave this earth? All HE asks in return is to believe and trust HIM and obey HIS commands and love one another. Is that so difficult to do and believe? NOT for me!

Blessings

He didn't. He laid down his life to pay for our sins and then He rose again 3 days later. Jesus said...

John 3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

He suffered so much , shed his innocent blood, and died a wrongful death to pay for the sins for who ever hears his word , admits they are a sinner and accepts his free salvation plan through Jesus.

Suicide is self inflicted with no additional help. You are wording it wrong. Try it again.

Because He loved us, except He is not dead nor was his human death a "suicide."
