i know im not a guy but i have an answer for you coming from a girl who has over 100 cousins that i know and over halkf are guys.
my cousins like mostly ones who are in between they dont liek the sassyness to much of it anyway. They like a girl who will protect themselves but they also like to be the protector if you get what i mean they like to know they are needed its a guy thing. They like to think their keeping their woman safe. A girl that doesnt let people walk all over them is good too though so dont get me wrong. Dont be too much of either way stay in the middle.

I love the quiet girls as they usually are the wild ones. But I like a girl who stands up also. Guys like you to have a personality but not to be obnoxious either. So I guess the quiet ones who stand up for themselves and challenge me?

There are nice things about both. A quiet girl is usually sweet and modest when she deals with other people, but sometimes can be indecisive. A girl who stands up for herself will challenge me to be a better person more easily and I know will be frankly honest with me more often, but sometimes can be really strong-willed and demanding. I don't really have a preference. Ask me again in a year and I might have a better idea of what kind of girl I'm more interested in.

Are you saying quiet girls don't stand up for themselves?
That doesn't make much sense.
You should be asking if guys like quiet girls that keep to themselves, or talkative girls that are outgoing.
I like a mix of the two.

I prefer the girls that stand up for themselves. It just seems that that kind of girl will have more self confidence, and be better off to handle any situation. This kind of girl be better in a long term relationship because they will be able to keep up with their partner in comunication, sports, sex, or even an occasional argument, instead of them just saying " I dont care, whatever you want to do."

I like a girl that can be trusted and that can trust me and has feelings for me ... I don't know if that falls under Quiet or Stand up 4themselves!

I like the kind that are quiet and don't act obnoxious, yet will stand up for themselves in the appropriate situation.

Why does a quiet girl necessarily not stand up for herself? Being outgoing or shy is not the same as being assertive or passive. There are plenty of outgoing people who will just go along with whatever everyone else is doing with no regard for their own needs.

Personally, I like girls who talk a lot; well girls who are quiet are fine too, I just would like for them to have some sort of backbone, so it truly feels like a healthy relationship.

Personally I like the quiet ones, They are usually the ones that have the least inhibitions when you get them alone. ALSO, After hearing that one woman running for Pres screaming and cackling give me a quiet one any day
