Mine would be- I hate when people smack and eat with their mouthes open.

hmmm...lets see:

~ the smacking while eating thing annoys me, too
~ people staring @ you and when you do the polite smile thing (hoping that they catch the hint and turn away) and they just look @ you as if you have 2 heads on your shoulder
~ people who bump into you and dont have the decency to offer an apology
~ drivers who speed up to cut you off and then slow back down again
~ drivers (mostly old people, no offense) who drift their cars @ 10 mph and then when you speed up to go around them, they suddenly smash the accelator and you end up behind them all over again!
~ screaming, bratty kids who are showing off because their mother wont let them have that fifty-billonth toy.
~ when I was in school (high school and college, esp), the kids who would intentionally ask dumb questions just to get a participation point...wait a minute people do that here, too
~ that guy in the club who just cant get the hint that you are not in the mood to dance...you've told him that you have a boyfriend, then you changed it to a husband, and then you added 15 kids...and he's still there

I would go on...but, I think this is enough. Besides, I think you only wanted one pet peeve. :-)

Something that REALLY, REALLY gets my goat is when a person is finished eating and when they finish a cigarette they put the cigarette in a class of juice, water, whatever. That is just truely GROSS.
Another thing that bothers me is people who do not have any table manners or know the proper way to hold their silverware or the proper way to hold their knife when they are cutting a piece of meat!!!

Companies that pay low wages and do not care about people except themselves.

Also do not allow people to retire with Republicans and Democrats trying to destroy THE only viable retirement account for most US citizens: Social Security.

Most US military veterans also do NOT qualify for health care from the US Veterans Administration since the administrators cut cost and somehow get more raises and bonuses at the expense of those who had served.

The Sepulveda VAMC is horrible since they try to remove the combat injured designation from a fellow vet to reduce what he is entitled to.

Marcus Kabel, BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Wal-Mart's normally low-profile security efforts were thrust into the limelight Wednesday when a fired technician alleged he had been part of a large surveillance operation that spied on company workers, critics, vendors and consultants. The company defended its security practices.

The world's largest retailer declined to comment on specific allegations made by 19-year veteran Bruce Gabbard to the Wall Street Journal in a report published Wednesday. Wal-Mart reiterated that it had fired Gabbard, 44, and his supervisor last month for violating company policy by recording phone calls and intercepting pager messages.

Wal-Mart's Chairman of the Board of Directors is disingenuous , a bold faced liar, and hires people to do his dirty deeds. Girls who wear their backpacks AND purses. Oh my goodness, it drives me nuts! Why on earth do you need a purse when you have a giant backpack! Just take your wallet and tampons out of your purse and put it in your backpack! Come on girls! Ugh...I just don't get it.
