I don't celebrate Yule, but I've always had an interest in astronomy. Every year, I mark the solstice as cosmological event - it's the longest night of the year and is very close to perihelion.

Bring it on! We're a mixed household, kinda sorta. We have up a tree, and it's just that: a tree. It's not a Xmas tree, it's just a 'tree.' There's some Santa decos hanging around and the kids are expecting Santa to leave their presents. But there's some nice little Yule decor in the kitchen, complete with pentacle. And then there's the mini-shrine set up to the Jets, which I have no control over anyway.
But I get my presents on the Solstice! muahahaha

Me! Though a day early. Have boyfriend family stuff on Yule (his brother, sister-in-law, neice and nephew are coming up, and they live 13 hours away). But definitely me.
