tell urself that u really really want 2 drink another flavour of pop. B as strong as u possibly can. 4 example, I like totally luv 2 drink Coca Cola but my mom says that i need 2 start drinking iced tea or water and i went 2 a resturaunt and i desperately wanted coke but I used every bit of strength i had 2 get iced tea. it was super hard, but i succeeded to say no 2 coke. i felt pretty good that I said no. Stick with rootbeer! Most rootbeer is caffine free so your doing yourself a favor by only drinking that. If thats what you like, and its better for you, why worry about drinking other soda? if anything you should worry about not drinking enough water... but eventually you'll get sick of root beer if your drink it all the time, then you will find your self wanting something else.. but for now, Enjoy your rootbeer! and dont forget to add icecream once in awhile! yum yum rootbeer floats! :)

Just take a deep breath and resist yourself to root beer. Next time you see a can of root beer, take a huge breath and tell yourself "No." Then walk away. Also, stop buying root beer.
Try other flavours of pop instead. Try bringing a friend or family member with you when you go grocery shopping to remind you not to buy root beer. Then choose from the variety of other sodas. Once you realize how good the other sodas taste, you'll realize that you were missing out on a lot by just drinking root beer and start buying a variety of different flavours. You'll never know what they taste like unless you try them! ;)

Here's an idea-try a little self-control! I know it's hard for the younger generation to understand the concept of taking responsibility for their actions. Give it a try-it will make you a better person.
BTW, soda does NOT "hold onto fat cells". Nor does it cause problems with the pancreas. It has no specal effect on blood sugar levels that are unlike any other sugary food or beverage. In itself, it does not rot your teeth-bacteria does that. In healthy people it does not create bloating, gas, etc.
Where do you people get your ideas????

Yes you can help it. And you don't want to drink any soda. They are loaded with chemicals and sugars. It is a well known fact that soda holds onto fat cells, causes problems with the pancreas, blood sugar levels, rots your teeth, creates bloating, gas, etc.
You should be drinking pure water. Just because you are 125lbs and not obese means nothing, it is still having a negative affect on your body.

Throw all the soda away from your fridge and if you happen to be going out to eat, dont ask for soda. Ask for water. And Dr. Pepper is amazing. It rox! Maybe you should find something healthier that you really like to drink.

Hello:
Do you hear what you are saying. You are saying you want one thing, but not enough to stop the other...thats insane.
If you want to try other sodas then you will bra, but if you really want a first step then try something like root beer...
I hope this helps

Root beer is caffeine free, and so better than most other pop.
Try Sprite, Ginger Ale, or Sierra Mist which also are caffeine free
