I lost a son to cancer 25 days before he turned 3. I was a very tragic time in my life and I didn't know how I was going to be able to get through it. After time had passed, I realized that my heavenly father carried me through those tough times. I have attended our temple many times and have felt my son near me while there. Although I have not had an actual vision of heaven, I truly know what it feels like. And I await the day to see my son again!

Look to 2 corinthians when Paul says he was caught up to the third heaven which is paradise. He heard inexpressible things. Life here on Earth is sometimes better sometimes worse but heaven is always getting better. Imagine being part of the song praising God forever. Being the song, no body, no worries, only joy.

As for a human being able to see heaven before existing on Earth is non-scriptural. Jesus stated during his days on Earth he was only from the spirit realm (heaven) and man is from this world. (John 8:23) That's very reasonable because heaven is invisible to the human eye.

Do you mean the movie by diane keaton or actual heaven?
Heaven does not exist. It is an imaginary place created by organized religion to make you think there is some wonderful place you go to when you die.
It makes death less frightening,
But it does not exist.
Heaven is here in your waking life on earth. God is here with you on earth. Now. Not later.

I see it in the eyes of my children
I hear it in the song of a Spring Robin
I smell it from the petals of a red rose
I taste it in crystal clear mountain water
I feel it in my beating heart
I know it in my mind
Heaven is real- Faith

No, and as an atheist, nor will I ever.
But if Heaven's your aspiration for eternity, go ahead.
:]
Happy holidays.
