Every single dream I have could be considered a nightmare to everyone I tell them to.However I don't think of them as such because to me a nightmare is characterized as a dream that causes fear; and I rarely feel fear in my dreams but they are all quite disturbing.I always dream in color I often have lucid dreams I feel, hear, see, and smell everything going on around me just like I would if I were awake which I personally find a little strange. They're usually long dreams and I almost always remember every single detail that affects the five senses.I do stay up late but what Ive watched before going to bed usually does not affect what goes on in the dream 99.9 % of the time.I can also remember dreams from when I was a child also very detailed and sometimes have reacuring dreams sometimes years apart but non the less.

I categorized nightmare, bad dream, just dream as follows

Nightmare - the fear you have stamped into your subconscious mind. That won't leave you quickly, you may still remember in a short period of time. And it may be recurring too.

Bad dream - it may not be necessarily fear, it could be something that bothers you. For example, something you feel you should have done, and you didn't do in the dream. That is a symbol of losing control by the way. Bad dreams tend to last shorter comparing to nightmare

Just dream - some are good or some are bad, but they only remain in your subconscious very shortly and sometimes you don't remember the whole detail. You probably remember partial of it.

Recurring dream - things you can't resolved in reality and you want to resolve in dream or in a subconscious stage.

In your case, you probably have bad dreams rather since you don't feel fear. However, those are recurring dreams, that may mean you have to unlock the puzzle of your subconscious mind to get rid of it or they will hang around for a while.

Well, you got the name of dreamqueen.. That means you dream a lot...

The main thing with dreams from a spiritual perspective, is how well you cope with their energy, and whether you have a good result in the end. That you manage to transform the energy to that which is more positive or less powerful. You are just use to handling a lot of strong spiritual energy in your dreams. If one is having trouble doing well with the spiritual energy in dreams. Meditation, mind-body exercises, a healthy diet, not overindulging, and relating to people who are not to negative for your spiritual strength will help. Life is a struggle, and dreams can reflect this. A dream is a nightmare when you lose control of the spiritual energy to the point that a terrible image is created, and it scares you very strongly.

I think it is all a matter of opinion. What creates fear in one person, may not to another. My dreams usually seem a little odd to me, but benign. Sometimes my friends act like i should be sent to the loony bin. I would classify a nightmare as a dream that causes you to be afraid or makes you feel horrible. If you don't feel that way after the dreams, it was only that - a dream.

It's a nightmare if it scares you, period. You don't have to even be asleep to experience a nightmare, the word just means horrifying event. Maybe you have a way of telling your dreams that scares your friends, or maybe you are just comfortable with the content of the dreams where some people wouldn't be. Dreams (and nightmares) are like that.

If you believe in reincarnation, you could be dreaming of a past life, especially if you have re occurring dreams. The sense of hearing smelling and seeing everything as if you were there, may be because your conscious remembers.
