Lady Suri... not much anit xtianism? I assume you mean antichristianism... have you read some of these questions on here? They would never fly if some of the questions directed at Christians were directed at Jews. (my opinion).

FYI- I believe in God but I do not belong to any of the 3 mentioned religions.

Thanks for the spelling corrections...

As far as the Xtian I was clarifying, not offended. Just making sure everyone knew what an xtian referred to. They victim? Touchy subject maybe. I don't think christians are the ones playing the victim. I rarely see that. As I stated I'm not a Christian. The entire religion could desolve tomorrow and I could care less. Just pointing out an observation.

To clarify: That observation being that there is a ton of antichristian questions on here... I would say there is probably equal number of antimuslim as well give or take.

It really depends on where you are. In the south, it's much higher than in the north. Same for antimuslimism, it's much higher in the south. There really isn't much antixianism.

If you're offended by my saying Xian, I will go over this again.
I do not say it to be offensive. I use the X because it was originally the Greek symbol for the word I am trying to portray--this is in the history of Xianity, people who don't know this are ignorant of their faith. I can't write out the name. If you have a better solution for me, I would love to hear it.

And yes, I read lots of questions on here--EVERYONE gets their fair share of bashing, so don't even bother trying to play the victim.

Over all, there is not a LOT of that going on over here; trust if there were, CNN would plaster it all over the TV.
At the moment, I think the most mistrusted group in America are the Muslims. Their not being forced out of the country mind you, but in the back of I'd say half Americans, we're expecting to get hit again any day and we just don't know where, when or how.
After 9/11, everyone couldn't help but have a leery eye toward Muslims in general, but to the best of my knowledge, we've never had a "death to____" rely in our nation unlike the multitudes of "death to USA, Death to England, Death to Denmark," relies held in Muslims countries .

However, if racism was being openly practiced in America, the world would know it!
And for the record, NO the south isn't the more racist region in America. Its usually the urban areas throughout the USA that has the most racial problems. LA is the highest, and California isn't in the south.

Anti-Semitism is a hard one to peg. I see a lot of it, but it is often veiled as anti-Israeli sentiments. When push comes to shove, though, the pitiful rational for such vehement hatred crumbles, and more times than not, it's simply hatred of the Jewish people that lies behind the mania for demonizing Israel. Europe is more guilty of this than America, but I see it far too much around me (but that's another story)...
As far as Islamophobia, there are few people that I have ever met that will even question the teachings of Islam; it matters not that I can quote passages from the Koran where Jews are called the descendants of apes and pigs and Muslims are told that Jews and Christians (and other kuffar) are to be killed; as far as most people are concerned, any sort of analysis of Islam or the behavior of Muslims is Islamophobic, racist (which is itself a ridiculous claim -- Islam is NOT a race...), etc., etc.
As for hatred of Christians, people have no qualms about insulting and degrading Christ and Christians.
To be fair, I am speaking as someone in an acedemic environment...and it seems that anti-Christian and anti-Semitic sentiments are taking a very strong hold in that environment. *Sigh*

All are higher than most let on in the US.
Antisemitism is higher in Europe and highest in the Muslim World, especially in Arab countries(even though they are Semites too.)
Antisemitic violence seems to be growing worldwide but i think the situation is better in the USA than in most places.

Anti Muslim sentiment is very high in the States since 9-11 and in Europe I think that it is even worse. Islamist terrorism . Attacks on non Muslims in Muslim countries does not help the situation since so many Westerners think all Muslims are terrorist sympathizers even when they do not know any Muslims.

Worldwide there is much antiChristian discrimminations and even persecutions of Christians( in China, Communist countries and Muslim World) especially Catholics and House Church Protestants and"odd groups" like Jehovah's Witnesses and 7th Day Adventists.

In the USA there is much social and public anti -Catholicism and great distain for atheists(except in the arts elites for atheists)
Evangelical Protestants( as well as Catholics) are distained and mocked by the arts elites and the press

In Europe there is great hostility against theists in general and Muslims and Christians in particular by militant atheist antitheists.

There is plenty of Antisemitism over here. Since Jews make up only about 1% of the world's religion, when you're in the minority ignorance has the opportunity to rear it's ugly head...
