come from nothing? Give me one( in concrete) example?
If I had a box and I store it away for generations with 'nothing' in it..And each generation that passed would get that box out and check it ...Would it still be empty ? or would they find something beginning from nothing start to form?
I think for generations to come there would only be without a doubt 'nothing' in that box ....
So explain to me 'something from 'nothing' again?
Wise answeres not stupid rule here.....

It can't. in the existence of all things seen and unseen, everything that is made was created by a spoken word, the Word of Almighty God. The box as you say clearly holds nothing but the box itself has material value and had it's start from the word that brought it forth into existence. Though some would think that the box has always been, which is not true. The box represents matter and matter consists of everything seen and like life in itself was spoken forth and God created the first man Adam. God never changes, His creative word will produce life in peoples broken body, broken relationships and marriages,. He is able to speak forth a word to change us from the inside out. He is able to turn any bad situation around for our good but we also have to change our way of thinking as well as the words we say for we also have creative abilities in our words for life and death are in the power of the tongue, given us from above...

The box is never technically empty there are particles and other elements that are unseen everyday that would enter and leave the box. Over generations even if the box were air tight each opening would allow a bit of dust or sediment to enter.

Also the box itself is something to start from and could be broken down. There's always something even when there is nothing.

I honestly don't know, and quite frankly, nor will anyone else, most likely.

I'm not sure whether you argue on the side of the theist or of the atheist, but regardless, just because we're without proof, doesn't imply that something's not possible.

Just because no one's never run a mile in under a minute doesn't mean they couldn't. Someone probably will someday -- or maybe they already have; I'm not familiar with current statistics. That's simply an example.

Many theists argue that if atheists are so certain of scientists, they should "prove it." Well, if theists are so certain science is wrong, go ahead and prove it. KayThanks.

I think it's certainly possible. I'm not a scientist; I didn't even make it to biology in school. It's just not important to me, at the moment.

It can't, but then there is no such thing as 'nothing' to begin with... or at least, our concept of nothingness is invalid.

Quantum physics shows that matter does come into existence at random and uncaused:

Physics doesn't allow for complete nothingness to exist because even supposedly empty space is actually a seething froth of virtual particles coming into existence on the basis of probability alone, and (usually) annihilating each other again immediately.

Do you mean , how can God exist, since there needs to be something to create him?

Turn on a flashlight. Where does the light come from?
Turn on a radio. Where does the sound come from?

You depend on others to tell you how the world works. Otherwise these devices would seem magical. Stop believing 2000 year old fairy tales.

The only point you seem to be making here is that you are not very intelligent.
At the very least, you have no understanding of the theories of the origins of the universe, life, or evolution... take your pick.

I don't suppose this "something from nothing" idea applies to your "god," does it??
Where did IT come from???

Oh, yeah, it always was!

Right.

Christians are the ones who believe that something came from nothing.

So I guess it's you who should be explaining the "something from nothing" since you are the one who claimed that's how it happened.

Wrong section. Go to the science section IF you're somehow referring to abiogenesis.

well, it would seem that there would be molecules in the box, so i suppose it would be a possiblity something may bond or form.
