Michael.
Incidentally, "Lucifer" is not an actual biblical name for the Devil, although the term has come to refer to Satan.
(Revelation 12:7-9) Michael and his angels battled with the dragon... So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan
While it is hardly a central doctrine of the faith, Jehovah's Witnesses happen to believe that Michael is another name for Jesus. Quite plainly, the bible teaches that there is single solitary archangel, the lone "Chief of the Angels". By definition, every mere angel would be lesser than that archangel.
Jesus was no mere angel on a par with other angels. Even before he came to earth and was impaled, Jesus the Son enjoyed a position higher than any other creature in existence because of two different reasons.
Firstly, as the firstborn of creation, Jesus likely spent thousands or millions or billions of years in exclusive association with Jehovah; this unique opportunity allowed Jesus to learn so much that Jesus is spoken of as the "image" and "reflection" and "exact representation" of Almighty Jehovah God.
(Colossians 1:15) [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation
(Hebrews 1:3) [Jesus] is the reflection of [Jehovah's] glory and the exact representation of his very being
Secondly, the bible teaches that Jesus worked alongside Jehovah to CREATE the other angels (and the rest of the heavenly and physical universe).
(Colossians 1:15-18) By means of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all other things and by means of him all other things were made to exist, 18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning
(Revelation 3:14) These are the things that [Jesus] says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God [see 2 Cor 1:20]
(Proverbs 8:22) Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago.
(John 1:1,14) In the beginning [Jesus] was... So [Jesus] became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of undeserved kindness and truth.
While Jesus enjoyed an elevated position since his creation by Jehovah, the bible teaches that Christ Jesus the Son has been given even GREATER glory and authority than he previously had. Since Jesus' resurrection to heaven, the bible indicates that: no salvation occurs without Christ, accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, every prayer must acknowledge Christ, Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, and Christ is now immortal.
But the bible explicitly notes that it is only since his resurrection that Jesus (the Son) was now in every way "better than the angels" and that Jehovah (the Father) elevated him thusly (emphasis has been added to most of these citations)...
(Hebrews 1:3-4) [Jesus] sat down on the right hand of the Majesty [Jehovah] in lofty places. So he HAS BECOME better than the angels
(Matthew 28:18) And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been GIVEN ME in heaven and on the earth.
(Acts 2:36) God MADE HIM both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you impaled.
(John 3:35) The Father loves the Son and HAS GIVEN all things into his hand.
(Acts 5:31) GOD EXALTED this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand
(Psalm 2:2-6) The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah AND against his anointed one... Jehovah himself will hold them in derision..., Saying: "I, even I, HAVE INSTALLED my king [Jesus]
As the agent of creation for the other angels, who better than Jesus to be their "Chief"? Interestingly, the Scriptures refer to *ALL* angelic spirit creatures as "morning stars". Jesus is not excluded from that terminology, but he is elevated by the unique description "the BRIGHT morning star".
(Job 38:4,7) When [Jehovah] founded the earth... When the morning stars [or "angels"] joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause
(Revelation 22:16) I, Jesus... I am the root and the offspring of David, and the BRIGHT morning star. [caps added]

Michael is an Arch Angel where Lucifer as the devil does not exist in scripture. On the other hand a Cherub angel did become Satan when he started a revolt in Eden.
Topic: Isa. 14:12
In the original Hebrew text, the fourteenth chapter of Isaiah is not about a fallen angel, but about a fallen Babylonian king, who during his lifetime had persecuted the children of Israel. It contains no mention of Lucifer, either by name or reference.
In Roman astronomy, Venus was called Lucifer or the "morning star". However, Lucifer is a latin word not a hebrew word that was later added to the king james bible.
The prophet Isaiah foretells the rise and fall of this arrogant king who would use his unbridled power to plunder Jerusalem and destroy its Temple but, at the end, would suffer a cataclysmic downfall.
In 14:12 Nebuchadnezzar is compared to the planet Venus whose light is still visible in the morning yet vanishes with the rise of the sun.
Like the light of Venus, Nebuchadnezzar's reign shone brilliantly for a short time, yet, as the prophets foretold, was eventually overshadowed by the nation of Israel whose light endured and outlived this arrogant nation who tormented and exiled her.

Michael. Lucifer is not an angel.
The name Lucifer occurs once in the Scriptures and only in some versions of the Bible. For example, the King James Version renders Isaiah 14:12: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”
The Hebrew word translated “Lucifer” means “shining one.” The Septuagint uses the Greek word that means “bringer of dawn.” Hence, some translations render the original Hebrew “morning star” or “Daystar.” But Jerome’s Latin Vulgate uses “Lucifer” (light bearer), and this accounts for the appearance of that term in various versions of the Bible.
The expression “shining one,” or “Lucifer,” is found in what Isaiah prophetically commanded the Israelites to pronounce as a “proverbial saying against the king of Babylon.” Thus, it is part of a saying primarily directed at the Babylonian dynasty. That the description “shining one” is given to a man and not to a spirit creature is further seen by the statement: “Down to Sheol you will be brought.” Sheol is the common grave of mankind—not a place occupied by Satan the Devil. Moreover, those seeing Lucifer brought into this condition ask: “Is this the man that was agitating the earth?” Clearly, “Lucifer” refers to a human, not to a spirit creature. Isaiah 14:4, 15, 16.

Satan was the highest ranking angel before he rebelled against God. Obviously there has be a demotion there!
Archangel Michael is believed to be the highest ranking warring angel in God's heavenly host. As powerful as Michael is, he does keep to his proper domain (Jude 1:6) and does not over-exert his authority over his adversary, Lucifer.

Lucifer was a Roman Sun God. Try considering other points of view, and research Lucifer outside of Christian church. Quit Practicing Christian sophistry, or stay a christian and quit learning new ideas, afterall new ideas are Satan's tricks to lead you into sin, right? lol

Lucifer, meaning "light bringing" or, "morning star" was mistakenly identified with Satan because of the "Belief that it was the proper name of Satan began with its used in Bible to translate Gk. Phosphoros, which translates Heb. Helel ben Shahar in Isaiah xiv.12 -- "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!" [KJV] The verse was interpreted by Christians as a reference to "Satan," because of the mention of a fall from Heaven, even though it is literally a reference to the King of Babylon (cf. Isaiah xiv.4). Lucifer match "friction match" is from 1831.

of course Michael, He is the great prince according to Daniel 12 verse 1.
He is the only archangel that is why he is the chief of angels, according to Joshua 5 verse 14 and Revelation 12 verse 7.
The bible never says that Satan is better than Michael both are sons of God all angels are sons of God according to Job 1 verse 6.
in Ezekiel 28 verse 11 says that Satan was a cherubim, there are many cherubims but only one Archangel that means chief angel.
I used the bible to support my comments

Lucifer was the most beautiful angel. The Bible describes him that way. But, when he rebelled against God, it only took Michael to throw him out of heaven. So, satan isn't even as powerful as Michael.
