Yes...then I have a good hearty laugh at myself.
If you aren't having fun doing it, then trim back and figure out what you can do without? Gifts? do what I did this year and buy the same gift for everyone. Cooking? Have a pot luck dinner. Running around everywhere? Figure out where you want to go, which party, etc...and go only to them. No one will be heartbroken if a stressed out, unhappy person won't be there.
Don't take holidays that seriously. If you do...then what fun is it?

I used to really stress during the holidays, but now I let others do all the running around and don't worry about it so much.

Happy Holidays

YESSS! I have to catch a flight in a 2 days because I am going to spend the holidays with my family and there is a blizzard where I am flying! Just the luck, huh? Plus I will only have 3 days to go Christmas shopping for everyone because if I do it here, it either won't fit, or the airlines will charge me ton of money for going over the weight limit (that's what happened last year) Well good luck to you, anyways! :)

Of course! Alot of people do. I think its the expectations of others that stress me so much. Wanting to get the perfect gift, etc... Don't worry... It'll all be over soon and in the end its sooo worth it.

Yes, mildly. I don't expect everything to be perfect, it seems every holiday season, something unexpected happens, financially, and I get stressed for being short on money.

absolutely not, why people freak out every year around this time I cannot understand, why does everything have to be perfect, & who is to say what is perfect, why dont you just relax & if you are so in to this time of the year do what you like & if others do not like it so what as long as you like it its fine, you dont do yourself a favor by being stressed for one day of the year (x-mas) be yourself & try to enjoy, dont think your gift has to be bigger, better than the other persons gift, or your decoration, or whatever else it is stressing you out...

I used to. Then I realized that nothing is ever perfect and that's life. As long as you're surrounded by the people you love and enjoy them while you have them, your holidays will be wonderful and you'll create memories you can cherish forever.

No. I gave up on perfect a long time ago. I try to keep it as simple as possible and focus on the real meaning of Christmas.

Nope I do what I can do and let God/fate what ever deal with the rest. I can only do my best and I know that I"m not perfect and I don't expect anyone else in my family to be either.

no, i go with the flow, roll with the punches if you will, ride the waves, dance to the music that's playing, be happy, it's what the holidays are about, not perfection, happiness.
