If I have these symptoms, what do you think I could have? I am making a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but I wanted to have questions and ideas for him. Thanks for your help!

Sounds gross, but I work with dogs and could have easily picked up a parasite. This is on my list for the doctor. Yuck!! :(

I am pretty positive if a doctor answers (and they do sometimes) that they will tell you - they don't know without an examination. I'm glad you made an appointment -- it could be something VERY SMALL to something to be concerned with. Our bowels can do different things and cause problems that CAN be fixed. Thes are symptoms of a bunch of different things so please try not to be scared. I work in a hospital -- I'm not a doctor though.

Well...if I were to make a guess..it 'sounds' like an over abundance of 'Candida' otherwise known as Yeast. Candida is a type of yeast-like fungus that tends to inhabit the intestines, genital tract and can travel through the blood stream to many parts of the body. Because candida can affect various parts of the body, it can be characterized by many symptoms. These may include: constipation, diarrhea, colitis, irritable bowel, abdominal pain, headaches, bad breath, impotence, memory loss, mood swings, canker sores, muscle and joint pain, congestion, nagging cough, numbness in the face or extremities, nail fungus, tingling sensations, acne, night sweats, severe itching, clogged sinuses, white spots on tongue and in mouth, fatigue, fibromyalgia, vaginitis, kidney and bladder infections, vaginal yeast, depression, hyperactivity and even diabetes.

Diet, stress and various medications can cause it to grow over normal limits and the symptoms you describe definitely fall into that possibility. See what your doctor says...but know that it can't hurt to consider making some dietary changes anyway...and possibly try some 'yeast' destroyers daily, like Acidophilus, Olive leaf (an herb), garlic - and others. All of these can be found at health food stores, but it wouldn't hurt to get started on one or 2 of these. Good for your immune system too.
