I'd love to come over. I'm afraid I've already eaten so I think I can only do with some cocktail bits. However I'll gladly make up for it all by contributing some alcohol. Which reminds me, does anyone here listen to Ken Bruce on BBC Radio 2? Recently he's been playing a song called "Santa's a Scotsman". I've heard it a few times and it's a great song :-)

Yes I'm sticking with turkey. Why must people try to be 'classy' with their Christmas dinners? I'm with Nigella Lawson on this one - Christmas dinner is all about comfort food and tradition, so bring on the turkey.

Probably roast cat, or a pigeon. Otherwise, roast duck with potatoes, parsnips, and carrots. For pudding, something light instead of the usual Christmas concrete mix, so maybe a spicy tart (to eat that is).

Later on, stollen cake with cheese, and a yeast conditioned beer.

Im making a spiral-sliced honey ham. Getting assorted cheeses and breads to make sandwiches. Crackers, candy's, cookies... just a basic buffet this year.

You could make a baked ham or a tenderloin roast. The roast is so easy and it is filet mignon.
